Civic Engagement

This webinar was conducted in conjunction with the California Secretary of State's Office and A Band of Voters to explain to campuses the requirements of AB 963 and the resources available to them. AB 963 (2019) was passed by the CA legislature to encourage civic engagement on higher education campuses. The Student Vote Project is housed in the CA Secretary of State's office and assists campuses with resources to enforce AB 963 on their campuses. A Band of Voters is a nonprofit organization that empowers student leaders to create civic events on campus and were a driving force behind AB 963.
