Buying and Using Recycled Paper

Whereas, According to the Environmental Paper Network using 40 cases of recycled paper saves an average of 24 trees, 7,000 gallons of water and 60lbs of air pollution; and

Whereas, The Student Senate for California Community Colleges has shown support of environmentally sustainable practices in the past;

Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges endorse those colleges advocating for the buying, usage and sale of recycled paper; and

Resolved, That The Student Senate for California Community Colleges urges local senates to support the buying, usage and sales of recycled paper for all campus needs.
