Whereas, The Constitution mentions both “General Assembly” and “General Session”;
Whereas, Having multiple terms for similar events can be confusing; and
Whereas, a general assembly is the entire assembly of delegates and general session is a session within the general assembly;
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges ensure that it clarifies both general assembly and general session terms in any advertisement and event programs so that delegates and other student attendees understand both terms.
