Whereas, ETextbooks are more sustainable than conventional textbooks, as they do not use large amounts of paper; and,
Whereas, Conventional textbooks are nearly always a great expense for students, while ETextbooks are often far cheaper; and,
Whereas, Conventional textbooks are very heavy and unwieldy, while a huge amount of ETextbooks can be contained in just one relatively lightweight laptop.
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges promote to all California Community Colleges to create a plan of action upon distributing ETextbook alternatives for the conventional textbooks normally required for California Community College courses.
