Whereas, California Community Colleges serve as a platform to assist students in personal growth through education;
Whereas, A student might move out of their current district and not be able to replace/retake a failed course at their initial college;
Whereas, California Community Colleges are not mandated to allow a student to replace a failed grade that they received at another institution; and
Whereas, This situation can lead to a student not being allowed to transfer toward a degree completion without returning to their initial college; that the Student Senate of California Community Colleges work with the Academic Senate for California Community College and/or California Community Colleges Chancellor‟s Office to create a statewide policy that allows replacement of a non-transferable grade from one campus, in the same course, at any other institution.
