Whereas, The three segmental partners of the Higher Education; the California Community Colleges, the University of California, and the California State Universities were formed on the basis of the California Master Plan for Higher Education;
Whereas, The Student Senate for California Community Colleges, the University of California Student Association, and the California State Student Association currently represent over 3 million students combined; and
Whereas, The California Community Colleges, the University of California, and the California State Universities have joined together in the past to host the March in March, advocate in solidarity for the Middle Class Scholarship, and support other legislation;
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges urge the President and the Vice President of External Affairs of the Student Senate for California Community Colleges to build collaboration with the University of California Student Association and California State Student Association in common higher educational goals; and
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges cosponsor a legislative conference with the University of California Student Association and California State Student Association for a joint Student Lobby Day before the legislative year's spring break.
