Whereas, The Student Senate for California Community Colleges, in conjunction with the 112 California Community Colleges, advocates for 2.9 million students;
Whereas, The financial cost of student advocacy continues to rise with a buildup of various travel, room and board expenses; and
Whereas, The Student Senate for California Community Colleges has limited resources to operate within each fiscal year and has recently declared a state of fiscal emergency;
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges form an extension of the Budget Advisory Committee to execute different fundraising activities throughout the fiscal year to create a steady flow of revenue.
