Whereas, Senate Bill (SB) 1143 by Senator Carol Liu was passed by the California Assembly and Senate and ultimately signed by then-Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger which created a task force on student success and completion; and
Whereas, The Student Success Task Force (SSTF) Recommendation 3.3 states: “Community Colleges will provide students the opportunity to consider the benefits of full-time enrollment”;
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges support the Student Success Task Force Recommendation 3.3
