Whereas, Vegetarian and vegan students of California community colleges are limited to very few options in their school cafeterias;
Whereas, These options tend to be more expensive then the alternatives singling out vegetarian students; and
Whereas, The Student Senate for California Community Colleges has adopted resolutions encouraging healthy living, equal treatment, and improved student life on California community college campuses;
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to advocate for a greater number of vegetarian and vegan options to be made available in their cafeterias; and
Resolved, That the Student Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to advocate for the inclusion of more affordable vegetarian and vegan options for their cafeterias.
